Historical Diving

Ever wondered what it was like to dive back in time before S.C.U.B.A. was invented in the 1940’s?

Well here is your chance, not only to wear the full ‘Standard Dress’ of helmet, suit, lead boots and weights, but to enter beneath the waves and experience diving in the past.

Once in the sea, air is supplied by a hand turned pump, down an umbilical cord, from the surface to the diver below.   Voice contact with the surface is via a communication line linked to the umbilical cord, ensuring both diver and the surface party can keep in touch.

We offer an experience that is not to be missed !  with either a short dive or a more in depth knowledge of the use of ‘standard dress’ that lasts a complete day with a hand book, longer water time and P.A.D.I. Certification.
